This is an outline of a Photowalk, but there's lots more along the way !
We meet at a local coffee bar for introductions and camera set up. Then it's the Northern Quarter with its alleyways and hidden gems whilst always looking for interesting characters !
Then weather dependant we either go down Shudehill to The Printworks and surrounding area, round to Deansgate and onto Castlefield, OR onto the canal path at Piccadilly Basin following it along to Castlefield with many photo ops along the way.
At Castlefield there are many great pics of the canal and bridges, often with wonderful shadows cast by the old ironwork. From there it's back onto Deansgate and up to The Hidden Gem for pics inside and out. Then up to Manchester Town Hall for some unusual angles of this iconic landmark. From there a short walk to The Library where we make good use of the arches and shadows cast.
We continue up to Piccadilly wheres there's always a few characters around ! We then make our way down to Fairfield Street with its old arches full of street art, then back onto London road and the fabulous old Fire Station. Finishing back at the coffee bar for a well earned drink and chat!
